Seamless steel pipes are pipes made from a solid piece of metal without any joints on the surface. According to the production method, seamless pipes are categorized into hot-rolled, cold-rolled, cold drawn, extruded, and jacking pipes, among others. Based on cross-sectional shape, they are divided into round and non-round types, with non-round shapes including square, elliptical, triangular, hexagonal, pumpkin-shaped, star-shaped, and winged pipes, among others. Diameters range from 0.3mm to 650mm. Depending on their application, they are classified as thick-walled or thin-walled pipes. Seamless steel pipes are primarily used for oil geological drilling pipes, cracking pipes for petrochemical use, boiler pipes, bearing pipes, and high-precision structural steel pipes for automotive, tractor, and aviation use.
