Seamless steel pipes are pipes made from a solid piece of metal without any seams on the surface. According to the production method, seamless pipes are categorized into hot-rolled, cold-rolled, cold drawn, extruded, and jacking pipes, among others. Based on cross-sectional shape, seamless steel pipes are divided into round and special-shaped types, with special shapes including square, elliptical, triangular, hexagonal, pumpkin-shaped, star-shaped, and wing-shaped pipes. The diameters range from 0.3mm to 650mm. Depending on their applications, they are classified into thick-walled and thin-walled pipes. Seamless steel pipes are mainly used for oil and gas geological drilling pipes, cracking pipes for petrochemical use, boiler pipes, bearing pipes, and high-precision structural steel pipes for automobiles, tractors, and aviation.
