This series of machine tools is a two-axis CNC external cylindrical grinding machine, equipped with SIMENS, FANUC, or other CNC systems. The movement of the worktable and abrasive wheel stand is driven by ball screw via AC servo motors on the Z and X axes, respectively. The X and Z axes are coupled for linear and circular interpolation, enabling the grinding of bevels and arcs. With proper programming, the machine can grind various small and medium-sized parts, including cylindrical, conical, and shoulder surfaces, either individually or in combination. It can also perform abrasive wheel shaping and dressing for form grinding.
