II. Installation and Usage Instructions
1、 The foundation for the storage tank must be level and capable of withstanding the corresponding pressure. If a steel structure is used, the gaps should not be too large, and wooden or iron plates should be laid on top.
2、 Tanks storing chemical substances should be equipped with proper drainage ditches and dilution systems around the facility.
3、 Due to the inevitable bulging of the tank bottom during molding into a spherical shape, the foundation needs to be made into a spherical shape similar to the bottom (it is recommended to lay sand in a spherical shape corresponding to the tank bottom on a level base).
4、 Large-scale storage tanks should be installed with safety in mind, preferably using a crane. If unsure of the method, please contact us.
5、 Plastic connectors are tightened at the factory, but they may become loose during transportation and handling. Therefore, it is necessary to inspect the connector's sealing performance before use. You can add liquid above the connector to observe for any leaks. For storage tanks containing chemical liquids, first test for leaks with water to prevent substantial losses.
6、 Tubes connected to the bottom joints or flanges of the tank must be perpendicular to the barrel wall, using flexible connections to prevent uneven expansion of the barrel wall from top to bottom upon filling with liquid, which could damage the joints and lead to leakage. In severe cases, it may even damage the joints and the barrel itself.
7、 When the liquid inlet is higher from the bottom of the tank, the inlet should bend towards the tank wall to allow the liquid to flow down along the wall, reducing the impact on the bottom.
8、 Large-capacity storage tanks20Above cubic meters, metal reinforcing sleeves can be used to limit the expansion deformation of the drum body at the joint, thereby preventing cracking of the holes.
