3M55231 is a cotton paper-based double-sided adhesive, with specifications of 1200MM*50M*0.15MMT and a white color; 3M55231 is an easy-to-use, general-purpose double-sided tape that boasts durability, good temperature resistance, with short-term resistance up to 120℃ and long-term resistance at 80℃; it also has excellent waterproofing, resilience, and strong adhesion.

The bonding strength of 3M55231 increases with the contact area between the adhesive and the bonded surface. Applying consistent pressure aids in better contact between the adhesive and the surface, thereby enhancing the bonding strength. To achieve effective bonding, the bonding surface must be clean and dry, with a temperature range of 21-38°C. It is recommended that bonding not be attempted if the initial temperature is below 10°C, as the adhesive is too hard at that point and cannot bond securely to objects. However, if bonding has already occurred, the adhesion at low temperatures is still satisfactory.

3M55231 meets the environmental requirements of ROHS and PFOS regulations, widely used in the processing industry, including rubber strips and plastic bonding in the rubber and plastic industry.
