Acetylene Carbon Black
Methane black boasts the following characteristics compared to other types of carbon black: light in weight and low in density; large specific surface area with strong adsorption; stable chemical properties; good surface activity and high electrical conductivity; high purity with low ash and volatile content.
Compared to powdered acetylene black, granular carbon black offers advantages such as smaller volume for easier transportation; reduced dust pollution for improved working environment; and better flowability and dispersibility.
Carbon black for acetylene is primarily used for conductivity, heat conductivity, coloring, and reinforcement, mainly for:
Manufacture dry cells that can enhance conductivity, increase discharge capacity, and extend discharge time.
2. Battery plates, including lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries, lithium-ion batteries, etc.
3. Conductive, antistatic rubber, silicone, and plastic, featuring small volume, excellent reinforcement, corrosion resistance, good processability, and easy control of conductivity.
4. Cable shielding material, accessories, and packaging materials.
5. Special tires and tire capsules, used for reinforcement and heat conduction. The vulcanized rubber reinforced with them boasts high tensile strength and hardness, and excellent physical properties.
