Acetylene Carbon Black
Methanol black has the following characteristics compared to other types of carbon black: light weight and low specific gravity; large specific surface area and strong adsorption; stable chemical properties; good surface activity and high electrical conductivity; high purity, low ash content, and low volatile content.
Compared to powdered acetylene black, granular carbon black boasts smaller volume for easier transportation; reduced dust pollution for a better working environment; and improved flowability and dispersibility.
Carbon black for acetylene is primarily used for conductivity, thermal conductivity, coloring, and reinforcement, mainly for:
Manufacture dry batteries, which can improve conductivity, increase discharge capacity, and prolong discharge time.
2. Battery plates, including lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries, lithium-ion batteries, etc.
3. Conductive, antistatic rubber, silicone, and plastic, with small volume, good reinforcement, corrosion resistance, good workability, and easy to control conductivity.
4. Cable shielding material, accessories, and packaging materials.
5. Specialized tires and tire capsules, which serve as reinforcement and thermal conductors. The vulcanized rubber reinforced with them boasts high tensile strength and hardness, along with excellent physical properties.
