Acetylene Carbon Black
Methylacetylene black has the following characteristics compared to other types of carbon black: light weight and low density; large specific surface area and strong adsorption; stable chemical properties; good surface activity and high electrical conductivity; high purity with low ash and volatile content.
Compared to powdered acetylene black, granular carbon black offers advantages such as smaller volume for easier transportation; reduced dust pollution for improved working environment; and better fluidity and dispersibility.
Carbon black for acetylene is mainly used for conductivity, heat conductivity, coloring, and reinforcement, primarily for:
1. Produce dry cells that can enhance conductivity, increase discharge capacity, and extend discharge time.
2. Battery plates, including lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries, lithium-ion batteries, etc.
3. Conductive, antistatic rubber, silicone, and plastics with small volume, good reinforcement, corrosion resistance, excellent workability, and easy control of electrical conductivity.
4. Cable shielding materials, accessories, and packaging materials.
5. Specialized tires and tire capsules, serving reinforcing and thermal conductivity functions. The vulcanized rubber reinforced with them boasts high tensile strength and hardness, along with excellent physical properties.
