Acetylene Carbon Black
Methylacetylene black has the following characteristics compared to other carbon blacks: lighter weight and lower density; larger specific surface area and stronger adsorption; stable chemical properties; good surface activity and high electrical conductivity; high purity with low ash and volatile content.
Compared to powdered acetylene black, granular carbon black offers smaller volume for easier transportation; reduced dust pollution, benefiting the improvement of the working environment; and good flowability and dispersibility.
Molten calcined carbon black is primarily used for electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, coloring, and reinforcement. Its main applications include:
1. Produce dry cells, capable of improving conductivity and increasing discharge capacity, as well as extending discharge time.
2. Battery plates, including lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries, lithium-ion batteries, etc.
3. Conductive, antistatic rubber, silicone, and plastic with small gauge, good reinforcement, corrosion resistance, good workability, and easy control of conductivity.
4. Cable shielding material, accessories, and packaging materials.
5. Special tires and tire capsules for reinforcement and thermal conduction purposes. The vulcanized rubber reinforced with them boasts high tensile strength and hardness, along with good physical properties.
