Safety Precautions for Operating High-Reach Vehicles:
1. Start the oil pump, press the car clutch, engage the drive take-off, shift the transmission to neutral, pull the hydraulic pump clutch lever to activate the hydraulic pump.
2. 2. After 2 to 5 minutes of operation, the hydraulic pump may be controlled by the various handle levers.
3. Lower the stabilizer legs first during operation, and place wooden shims under the legs if necessary to ensure the vehicle is level.
4. Handle the handle smoothly; avoid rapid and forceful movements to prevent excessive swinging of the work arm and unexpected accidents.
5. The parking location should be on a solid surface, with the vehicle's tilt angle not exceeding 3°, and the warning flasher turned on.
6. Height and Wind Force Relationship: (1) Operations below 10 meters are suitable for wind speeds of 6 and below; (2) Operations between 11 and 20 meters are suitable for wind speeds of 5 and below; (3) Operations between 21 and 30 meters are suitable for wind speeds of 4 and below.
7. When lifting the boom (platform), alternate the movements of the upper and lower arms to ensure the boom (platform) remains in the lift radius position. It is strictly prohibited to use the boom arm for any other purpose.
8. During operations, operators must maintain a safe distance from the hopper (platform), arm, high and low voltage cables, telephone lines, buildings, large trees, billboards, and lighting decorations.
9. The on-duty driver is responsible for ground operations and ensuring the safety of vehicles in transit. When operating vehicles exceeding 25 meters in height, in addition to setting up proper safety signs and guardrails, an additional 1-2 people must be assigned to strengthen supervision, apart from the driver.
10. During the operation, if any abnormal sounds or sudden oil leakage is detected in the hydraulic system, the work should be immediately stopped. Resume operation only after inspection or repair has been completed.
11. In case of a hydraulic system failure where the operation arm fails to move, efforts should be made to safely evacuate the personnel on the operation bucket (platform). Notify the maintenance personnel to address the issue. After completion of the work, reset the operation bucket (platform), operation arm, retract the support legs, disconnect the hydraulic pump, release the handbrake, and then start the crane.
