Cast Iron Gate
Usage:
Primarily used in hydropower and water conservancy, municipal construction, water supply and drainage, agricultural water conservancy projects, and wastewater treatment. High corrosion resistance, applicable for fluids with pH levels between 6-8. Gate structure is rational, easy to install, simple and flexible in operation, and convenient for management.
Installation Instructions:
The gate upper and lower frames are equipped with fixed blocks to prevent the gate leaf from slipping out during transportation and lifting. Before starting up (after installation and curing), the upper gate fixed block and the lower frame tight return bolt should be removed first.
The gate installation is done in a single piece, adjusting the water-sealing gap between the gate leaf and the gate frame to below 0.3". After this, the secondary casting is performed. During the concrete casting, ensure the gate frame is in a vertical position. Any mortar that seeps into the gaps between the gate leaf, frame, wedge iron, and stop plate must be cleared to prevent it from solidifying and affecting the gate's opening and closing.
During the opening and closing of the gate, attention should be paid to the up and down position of the gate plate to avoid damaging the gate or the opening and closing mechanism. Check for any jamming during the lifting and lowering of the gate during the opening and closing process.
Gate valves and gate frames are mating parts; do not interchange them during multiple transportations and installations.
