Gravity Flow Racks, also known as Self-Flow Racks, have a basic structure and principle similar to gravity racks. They are equipped with roller-type aluminum alloy or sheet metal tracks on the beams, placed at a certain slope. The stored goods are small items, with individual weights typically ranging from 10 to 20 kg. The handling is manual, and the goods are usually packaged in cardboard boxes or placed in plastic bins or parts boxes. They utilize gravity for the movement of goods and implement a first-in-first-out system, allowing for one-time restocking and multiple picking, resulting in high storage efficiency. They are commonly used in distribution center picking operations, production assembly line process transitions, and similar settings. They can be paired with electronic tags for goods information management.
