When cleaning glass, be mindful of the following points:
1. Choose the appropriate cleaning tools: including sponges, rubber scrapers, fine brushes, spray bottles, etc. Ensure these tools are clean to avoid introducing additional dirt and dust.
2. Use the correct cleaner: Select a glass surface cleaner suitable for your needs. Generally, common glass cleaners can be found on the market.
Avoid cleaning glass in direct sunlight: Do not clean glass when it's directly in the sun as it can cause cleaning agents to evaporate, leaving residues and water spots. Opt for cleaning in the early morning or late afternoon, or on a cloudy day.
4. Maintain: Pay attention during the cleaning process. At least two people should work together, whether cleaning the glass inside or outside the building. Both should tie a rope around their waists. Do not place one foot on the outdoor window sill, flower架子, vegetable架子, or protective windows, as these frames are made of iron. If they have been in use for more than 3 years, exposed to wind and sun, they may have become severely corroded and are unlikely to bear the weight of a person.
Avoid using tissues or newspapers: While they may seem like a time-saving option for cleaning glass surfaces, they actually leave behind tiny particles and fibers, and can cause scratches. Instead, opt for a clean towel or microfiber cloth to keep the surface spotless and scratch-free.
6. Utilize straight-line motion for wiping: When cleaning glass surfaces, a single straight-line motion ensures a clean finish with no streaks.
Regular Cleaning: Maintaining a regular cleaning routine is crucial for long-term cleanliness and clarity of glass surfaces.
