The decorative panels for aluminum honeycomb panels typically use grades such as 3003, 5005, etc., while 1100 aluminum plates with low alloy content are less commonly used. The decorative surface is coated by spraying or rolling, with polyester or fluorocarbon paint as the coating. For exterior panels, it's better to choose spray-coated panels, and they should have three coatings or more, with a paint film thickness of ≥40μm to ensure the durability of the coating.

The back panel of aluminum honeycomb panels should be made of the same material as the panel surface, which should be anodized and coated with a protective layer on the side exposed to the air. The coating material can be polyester, epoxy, acrylic, etc., to prevent rusting of the aluminum plate due to long-term exposure to the air.

Aluminum honeycomb panels weigh only 1/5 of aluminum sheets and 1/10 of steel sheets with the same rigidity. Even with large honeycomb panel sizes, they can achieve exceptional flatness. The honeycomb cores within the composite panels are divided into numerous sealed small cells, blocking air flow and significantly hindering heat and sound waves, thus providing excellent thermal insulation, heat preservation, and soundproofing. They can reduce noise from 100 - 3200 Hz by 20~30 dB, with a thermal conductivity of 0.104-0.130 W/M.K, making aluminum honeycomb panels capable of absorbing 150-3500 KJ/M² of energy, an ideal energy-saving material.

Aluminum honeycomb panels, after being treated with highly corrosion-resistant fluorocarbon resin, are widely used for the cladding, roofing, large signage, and interior decoration of buildings.
