The interconnected aluminum honeycomb cores are like numerous I-beams, distributed and fixed throughout the entire panel surface, making the panel more stable. Their wind pressure resistance exceeds that of aluminum extrusions and single aluminum sheets, and they are resistant to deformation with excellent flatness, even with large honeycomb grid sizes. The core of the aluminum honeycomb panel is an aluminum hexagonal honeycomb structure with a low density (approximately 3-7 kg per square meter), which is only 1/5 the weight of a solid wood panel of the same thickness and area, 1/6 the weight of glass, and 1/7 the weight of aluminum. This reduces the building load and cost. Due to the large air-filled intermediate layer, it provides sound insulation (sound insulation can reach 30dB) and thermal insulation (thermal resistance can reach 0.02(㎡·K/W)). It is non-toxic, fire-resistant up to B1 level, waterproof, moisture-proof, and does not release harmful gases. It has a high specific strength and modulus of elasticity (the structural rigidity is 1.7 times that of ribbed structures), is not prone to deformation, and completely overcomes the disadvantages of other decorative panels, such as deformation and central collapse when the panel area is large. It is easy to process, can be cut and folded at will, and the surface fluoro-carbon coating can ensure the product's lifespan for over 30 years. The aluminum honeycomb panel has an extremely high level of flatness, good seismic performance, and its weight is only one-eighth that of glass curtain walls. The 22mm thick standard component can bear a load of over 700 kg when simply supported at 1 meter with a deflection of 10mm.
