This process traps non-settling fine suspended particles and facilitates the degradation of organic matter, thereby achieving purification. Due to the use of fiber as the material and its overall bundle-like appearance, it is named fiber bundle filter media.
【Working Principle】
The filtration process utilizes gravity from top to bottom through the water level in filters or filter basins to compress the filter bed, keeping the fibrous filter material in a dense state, which enhances the efficiency of retaining impurities and improves the water quality after filtration. During backwashing, air and water冲击 from bottom to top, causing the bundled filter material to be suspended and loosened, thereby removing adsorbed materials from the filter bed. This achieves a state of random filling for filtration and ordered filling for backwashing of the fibrous filter material. Operation involves water entering from the top and exiting from the bottom. As water flows and gravity act, the fiber density adjustment device drives the fiber filter bed downward, compressing the filter layer, and increasing its packed density along the flow direction, reducing the porosity of the filter layer along the water flow. This results in a particularly ideal variable-porosity deep filtration state with both lateral and vertical deep filtration, effectively improving the filtration precision. When the filter layer becomes polluted and requires cleaning, the cleaning water flows in the opposite direction through the fiber filter bed. Under the action of backwashing water flow and cleaning air, the fiber density adjustment device moves the fiber filter bed upward, causing the fiber filter material to extend upwards and reach a loose state. Through the air-water mixed cleaning technology, during the bubble aggregation and dispersion and hydraulic flushing process, the fiber filter material remains in a continuous fluttering state, ensuring a thorough cleaning and achieving an ideal cleaning effect.
