【Product Introduction】
Quartz sand is a hard, wear-resistant, and chemically stable silicate mineral, with its main mineral composition beingSiO2, also known as quartz sand, is white or translucent, with a hardness of 7, brittle without cleavage, and a conchoidal fracture. Its density is 2.65, with a bulk density ranging from 1.6 to 1.8 for particle sizes 1-20 mesh, and 1.5 for 20-200 mesh. It exhibits significant anisotropy in its chemical and thermal properties, is insoluble in acid, slightly soluble in KOH solution, and has a melting point of 1750°C. Quartz has high refractoriness and is commonly categorized in the industry as: common quartz sand, processed quartz sand, and high-purity white quartz sand, etc.
