The XBD-DL vertical multi-stage fire pump set is a new product developed in accordance with the needs of fire protection in our country, following relevant fire standards and regulations. This pump set, utilizing the hydraulic model of the IS-type pump recommended by the state for energy-saving purposes, boasts high efficiency, a wide performance range, and a safe, stable, and long-lasting operation due to its vertical and segmented structure. It occupies minimal floor space and is easy to install and maintain. The pump set is suitable for fire protection systems in residential buildings, hotels, department stores, office buildings, and other high-rise and low-rise structures. It can also be used for domestic water supply, air conditioning unit circulation, and cooling water transport.

Structure Description:
The XBD-DL fire pump unit features a vertical multi-stage segmented structure, where the inlet and outlet sections are clamped and integrated into one using bolts. Each stage of the pump is equipped with one impeller and one guide vane, and the axial force is resolved by the force balance method. The residual axial force is supported by a ball bearing, which is lubricated with grease.
The pump assembly's suction inlet is at the bottom, and the outlet is at the top. The inlet and outlet are assembled at 180 degrees relative to each other at the factory (aligned with the same axis). However, users can adjust the outlet installation position according to actual conditions by rotating the discharge section 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees. Simply remove the tension bolt to make the adjustment.
The main components of the XBD-DL fire pump unit include: inlet section, middle section, outlet section, motor base, motor, impeller, guide vanes, last stage guide vanes, shaft, shaft sleeve, sealing ring, upper bearing, lower bearing, and retaining sleeve, etc. The shaft sleeve, upper and lower bearings, sealing ring, and impeller are wear parts, which are replaced during maintenance according to the degree of wear.
Bearings: Single-row radial ball bearings used.
Axial Seal: Available in two structures, soft packing or mechanical seal.
Transmission: Driven by a vertical motor through a flexible coupling. Looking down at the motor end, the pump rotates in a clockwise direction.
