① The flexible bell mouth joint is commonly used on cement pipes with diameters of 1,200mm or more. This joint type is a flexible connection, featuring the bell mouth design and is superior to the bell mouth joint in quality.
② The socket-type interface uses a rubber ring for water sealing, which is a flexible connection. The insertion depth of the interface ranges from 80 to 100 mm. This type of Zhengzhou cement pipe has good seismic performance. The pipe foundation can be either sandstone or concrete, with rapid installation. However, do not use socket-type interfaces for large-diameter cement pipes due to the occurrence of circumferential cracks.
③ Socket pipes are a relatively traditional type of joint form for Zhengzhou cement pipes. They are not very difficult to produce, with high production efficiency and low production costs. The joint sealing uses a rigid connection with a steel wire mesh concrete strip. However, its sealing effect and seismic resistance are not very good. If the foundation shifts, the joints may open, and wastewater could contaminate the underground soil, which is not very favorable to the environment. Therefore, this type of joint method is not widely used.
