Permeable concrete, also known as porous concrete or drainage concrete, is a type developed and used by countries like the US, Europe, and Japan to address the defects in the surfaces of original urban roads. It allows rainwater to infiltrate the ground, effectively replenishing groundwater; it also effectively eliminates the environmental hazards caused by pollutants like oil compounds on the surface. Additionally, it is an excellent paving material for protecting nature, maintaining ecological balance, and mitigating the urban heat island effect. It holds special significance in the benign development of the human living environment and in the management of urban rainwater and water pollution prevention.

Due to the series of color formulations available in the permeable concrete system, combined with creative design, it is laid and constructed to cater to various decorative styles suited for different environments and individual requirements. This differs from traditional paving and standard permeable bricks.
