Since LED lights are housed within the letter casings and are not waterproof, the following considerations should be taken into account for waterproofing measures in the production of these letters:

Retaining hole

Below the character strokes and in areas prone to water accumulation, drill 2-3 small holes, typically with a diameter of 4.2 millimeters. Excessive water accumulation can be difficult to drain, affecting the stability and aesthetics of the characters. A properly sized drainage hole can quickly resolve the issue of water accumulation.

Joint filling method

Between the base of the illuminated letters and the installation object, use sealant along the outline of the advertising letters to bond the edges of the illuminated letters to the installation object. This ensures there are no gaps between them. Please note that the gap above the illuminated letters must be sealed, otherwise rainwater may enter and damage the illuminated letters.
