Circular welding nuts are widely used, being a type of nut. Although welding nuts are known for their high strength and resistance to loosening, certain precautions should be taken during use to ensure proper connection. Welding involves merging two separate components into a single unit by melting the metal at high temperatures, mixing it, and then cooling it. Alloys are added in the process, with molecular forces at play inside, which result in a greater tensile strength compared to general nuts.
Welding nut arc length: For general steel, 2-4mm is ideal, while for stainless steel, 1-3mm is recommended. Excessive length reduces protective effectiveness. To ensure good argon protection of the welding pool and facilitate welding operations, the tungsten electrode centerline should typically maintain an angle of 80-85° with the workpiece at the welding point.
