Typically used in conjunction with a lock washer, the T-nut is mainly used for securing shaft ends, usually featuring a fine thread.
Standard hexagon nuts, T-shaped round nuts, butterfly nuts, self-locking nuts, and so on are commonly used for bolt connections. Small T-shaped round nuts are used to fix the axial displacement of transmission and rotating parts, and are often used with lock washers to secure the inner race of rolling bearings. A hook spanner is required for the assembly and disassembly of nuts.
Commonly used for threaded locking and thrust, fine-threaded bolts are often used for larger diameter connections. Small T-shaped round nuts are suitable for compact structures with smaller outer diameters and thicknesses.
