WYZ-80 Water Level and Temperature Recording Instrument






1. Overview

3D-MEMS silicon capacitive pressure sensors are renowned for their unique high precision, compact size, and ultra-low power consumption. These sensors have an exceptionally low power consumption, making them unparalleled in battery-powered devices.

Utilizing a 3D-MEMS silicon capacitive pressure sensor, the system incorporates microprocessor-based differential calculation, nonlinear correction, and temperature compensation to eliminate the impact of atmospheric pressure changes, achieving high-precision measurement of water level pressure and temperature, as well as storage.

Full 316L stainless steel integrated structure design, waterproof for long-term underwater use. Pressure sensors, air pressure sensors, batteries, and circuits are sealed within the stainless steel housing. φ22mm international standard size, suitable for installation in deep wells and other applications, for long-term monitoring of groundwater, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and comprehensive utilization of geological disaster forecasting.

3. Operating Principle and Process

Utilizing a new type of silicon capacitive absolute pressure sensor for measurement, the pressure signals of the water depth pressure sensor and the atmospheric pressure sensor achieve higher accuracy and resolution. Both pressure sensors' linear and temperature errors are fully digitized compensated, with compensation parameters stored in non-volatile memory, ensuring data security.

The system activates from sleep mode according to the user-defined collection cycle. The MCU begins operation, and temperature and pressure signals are sent to the MCU for processing via the signal conditioning section, then stored in Flash in a specified format. These data can be read and downloaded using a reader via the RS485 interface. The content of the data includes: static water pressure, static water level, air pressure, temperature, battery voltage, current time, historical data, etc.

Upon completion of water level and temperature data collection and recording, the system re-enters sleep mode, with the MCU and peripheral modules ceasing operation, only the clock module functioning, powered by the battery to maintain clock accuracy. When the set collection interval time arrives, the clock module activates the system to continue collecting and recording. Each time data is read from the interface using the reader, the system clock is corrected to ensure time accuracy.

The power management section handles power consumption to extend battery life, and is responsible for switching to external power when using the reader and back to battery power when disconnected. The protection circuit provides overvoltage protection for the entire system.
