I. Product Overview The JSZ type acoustic rain gauge is a high-precision rainfall measurement sensor independently developed and produced by Xuzhou Weisi Water Conservancy Technology Co., Ltd., based on the principle of acoustic ranging. It can measure natural rainfall and convert it into a digital signal for output via switches or serial ports to meet the needs of information transmission, processing, recording, and display. It is mainly used for observing rainfall in departments such as hydrology, water conservancy, meteorology, and scientific research. II. Structure and Features This product consists of a catchment mouth, a rain collector, a rain transfer pipe, a measuring drum, an ultrasonic measurement circuit, a drainage circuit, a rain sensor, and a stainless steel outer casing. When external rain occurs, the rain flows smoothly through the catchment mouth, rain collector, and transfer pipe to the measuring drum. The rainfall is calculated by measuring the water level changes within the drum using the ultrasonic circuit, offering the advantages of stable data and high measurement accuracy. 1. High Precision: Utilizes ultrasonic non-contact measurement, offering a resolution of 0.1mm within the rainfall intensity range of 0.01-4mm/minute. 2. Intelligent: Automatically initiates drainage when rainfall reaches 10mm. As the rain is falling, it is automatically intercepted in the rain collection funnel. After drainage is complete, it is placed into the measuring bucket, ensuring no loss and maintaining measurement accuracy. 3. Lightning Protection: The external interface of the instrument is equipped with a lightning protection circuit. 4. Anti-blockage: The rain collector's inlet and the drainage outlet at the bottom are equipped with a filter mesh, preventing foreign objects from falling into the rain channel and entering the measurement drum. All structural components are made of stainless steel, offering rust, corrosion, and aging resistance. 6. The measuring software within the instrument features an auto-diagnostic function, reducing the workload for on-site maintenance. III.
