Foam fire hydrants are one of the important components in foam fire extinguishing systems, serving as fire equipment that supplies foam mixture to foam jet devices via foam pipelines. They are particularly suitable for areas with fire hazards involving flammable and combustible liquids, especially in their production, storage, and use. Foam fire hydrants are primarily composed of flanges, cylinders, ball valves, fire pipe sockets, and end caps. The outdoor above-ground foam fire hydrant flange interfaces are available in three models: PS100-65×2, PS150-80(65)×2.
The foam fire hydrant has two standard fire ball valves DN65 for outlets, equipped with standard KY65 pipe thread fittings and caps. The hydrant body is made of seamless steel pipe, with a rated working pressure within the range of 1.6MPa. Compared to the regular fire hydrant, the foam hydrant is simpler in structure, easier to install, especially with two fire ball valve outlets, making operation very convenient and quick. Before use, connect the water hose and spray device first, then open the outlet valve. Pay attention to the opening and closing direction of the valve. Its features include: simple structure, easy installation, performance, and low maintenance costs.
