Usage and Introduction:
The Bacher trough is applied in all urban water supply channels, cooling water intake and drainage channels for thermal power plants, sewage treatment inflow and discharge channels, industrial and mining enterprise wastewater discharge, as well as water conservancy engineering and agricultural irrigation channels.
The commonly used open channel flow meters for measuring sewage in industry and public utilities can be roughly divided into two types based on measurement principles: weir method and flow measurement channel.
Characteristics of Weir Flow Meter:
Simple structure, easy installation, good measurement accuracy and reliability;
Installation requirements:
(1) Keep the discharge downstream of the Bacher trough unobstructed. No water accumulation, if not unobstructed. Maintain a water level difference greater than or equal to 30MM.
(2) There is a buffer zone 1-3 meters away from the straight section in front of the Bacher trough, and the buffer channel should be level with the bottom of the trough for easy measurement.
(3) Ensure that there is a water level difference downstream of the Bacher trough, the discharge is smooth, and there is no water accumulation.
Installation steps:
Pour concrete or build bricks around the Bacher groove to ensure that the groove does not deform. There should be support inside the large groove to ensure that it does not protrude. Ensure that all water flows through the Bacher trough. The installation of the Bacher groove should be horizontal. If the distance between the groove and the channel is too large, brick the groove to maintain a distance of 50-100 millimeters, and then fill it with cement mortar.
Key points of Bacher groove installation:
Ensure that there is a water level difference downstream of the Bacher trough, the discharge is smooth, and there is no water accumulation. Note: The support of the Bacher trough is located upstream of the water flow.
