Technical requirements for slide type sludge silo

1. The storage bin for dehydrated sludge includes (platform, steel structure support and accessories, mud pushing slide, hydraulic drive package for slide, level gauge, hydraulic control for slide, screw conveyor for discharge, hydraulic discharge gate), hydraulic pipelines, connections and interfaces between the above units or equipment, and accessories required for system operation.

2. The type of silo should adopt a steel flat bottom structure, and the stored sludge should be discharged by gravity and mechanically combined to fall. Under any circumstances (including changes in moisture content and clumping inside the silo), there should be no "bridging" phenomenon during the process of dewatered sludge falling or unloading. The warehouse contains mechanical structures, and there is no sludge inside the screw after each shutdown. The screw will not overload after startup.

3. The piston type mud pushing slide device has sufficient thrust and strength to forcibly introduce sludge into the spiral discharge machine and discharge it in a reciprocating motion. After dehydration, the sludge in the silo has a conical structure, and the theoretical volume of the silo is greater than 10% of the rated sludge storage capacity. The warehouse contains a material sorting device to increase the capacity of the silo.

4. The moisture content of the stored sludge is 70-80%, the volume is 56m3, the single set of spiral discharge capacity is greater than 30m3/h, the thickness of the bottom of the silo is 14mm, the thickness of the silo wall is 10mm (including reinforcement structure), and the thickness of the silo top is 10mm (including support structure, some parts are equipped with movable cover plates for easy emptying).

5. The silo needs to be equipped with maintenance manholes for easy maintenance and upkeep; The welding adopts carbon dioxide shielded welding, with a V-shaped groove and double-sided forming, and the weld strength is higher than the body strength; The spiral body of the spiral discharge machine at the bottom of the silo is made of manganese alloy steel, which has sufficient strength and rigidity; The discharge port of the silo is equipped with a hydraulic discharge gate valve, which reduces the labor intensity of workers and protects the environment.

6. The entire hopper is supported on a steel structure bracket, and the height from the bottom of the hopper to the floor (determined according to the height of the sludge transport vehicle) allows the sludge screw pump to be transported to subsequent equipment such as the dryer and maintenance.

7. The silo arch breaking sliding frame and other components are driven by hydraulic pressure, and the design and manufacturing of the hydraulic device and pipeline system comply with standards.

8. All materials used to manufacture the silo should be suitable for the corrosive environment of the sewage treatment plant, and the low-carbon steel part should comply with the standards.

9. Inside the silo: 1 layer of rust proof primer not less than 40m (dry thickness, the same below), 1 degree, and 2 layers of epoxy resin coating not less than 160m. Exterior of the silo: 1 layer of rust proof primer with a dry thickness of not less than 40m, and 3 layers of epoxy paint coating with a dry thickness of not less than 80m.

10. The design and manufacturing of steel structural components shall be carried out in accordance with the standards.
