Color paste is a semi-finished product made by dispersing pigments or a mixture of pigments and fillers in lacquer. Those with pure oil as the binder are called oil-based color paste. Those with resin lacquer as the binder are called resin color paste. Color and filler paste formed by adding surfactants with water as the medium is called water-based color paste. Due to the variety of lacquer types, there are many types of color paste. Must be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area between 0-35°C. Shelf life of unopened drum is 12 months.
