Cautionary Notes:

Vacuum pump oil has a shelf life of up to 3-5 years under sealed conditions; unopened, it is guaranteed for 3 months.

* After the initial 500 hours of use, replace the pump oil. Thereafter, change the oil every 1000-1500 hours of operation. (Note: In harsh operating environments, observe the color of the pump oil regularly.)

Check the oil level sight glass; replace the vacuum pump oil when the oil changes from yellow-brown to black or to milky white.

Proper selection of vacuum pump oil will benefit the pump's ultimate differential pressure, ultimate total pressure, start-up, power consumption, pump temperature, stability of pump performance, and the service life of the vacuum pump.

Vacuum Pump Oil Change Method

1. Unscrew the drain valve using the gravity method, raise the pump body oil tank to allow the old oil in the vacuum pump to automatically flow to the position of the oil drain cap. Once the old oil is drained, inject a small amount of clean vacuum pump oil (100~500mL) from the vacuum pump oil filling port to flush the internal chamber. Then, operate the vacuum pump for about 1 minute, turn it off, and release the newly injected oil. If the released oil is still not clean, continue to inject fresh oil for flushing until it becomes clean.

Then, unscrew the drain valve, remove the oil filling cap from the oil filling hole, add new vacuum pump oil into the vacuum pump until the oil level reaches the oil mark, and then screw the cap back on.
