Pneumatic Flanged Butterfly Valve - Product Overview
Our D641X and D643H pneumatic flanged butterfly valves consist of an angular actuator and a butterfly valve body. Their main advantages include: simple structure, compact size and light weight, and low cost. This is particularly evident in the pneumatic flanged butterfly valves, which are easy to install in high-altitude tunnels and controlled by a two-position five-way solenoid valve for convenient operation. With a valve positioner, they can also adjust flow rate, temperature, pressure, and other parameters. These valves have low fluid resistance, and when fully open, medium and large-sized pneumatic flanged butterfly valves have a large effective flow area, making them quick and easy to open and close. A 90-degree rotation of the butterfly handle is sufficient. Due to the nearly equal medium-acting force on both sides of the butterfly plate, the torque directions are opposite, resulting in a smaller closing torque. They achieve good sealing at low pressure. The sealing materials for pneumatic flanged butterfly valves include nitrile rubber and fluororubber, known as pneumatic flanged soft-seated butterfly valves. The pneumatic hard-seated flanged butterfly valves are multi-layer metal hard-seated, offering the benefits of elastic sealing and excellent sealing performance even at low temperatures. Therefore, pneumatic flanged butterfly valves are widely used on pipelines carrying corrosive media such as metallurgy, power, oil, chemicals, air, coal gas, combustible gases, and water supply and drainage.
