Aluminum foil tape is coated with a special adhesive on the aluminum foil. It is used to secure heat tracing cables along their path, for the temperature sensor of thermostats, and facilitates installation. Its primary function is to secure the heat tracing cables, increase the heat dissipation area of the cables, and enhance thermal conduction. The width of this tape is 50mm. The amount of aluminum foil tape required is 1.2 times the designed amount of electric tracing.
