Express delivery has become an everyday norm, and WeChat's Carrier Network mini-program has not missed this opportunity. A reporter from the Beijing Daily app noticed that recently, the Carrier Network quietly launched a discount platform for logistics services. Users can directly place orders for sending parcels and logistics via the Carrier Network mini-program. The current partner logistics companies of Carrier Network include Deppon, SF Express, JD.com, YTO Express, STO Express, and J&D Express, totaling 6 companies.
After entering the carrier applet, you will see four modules: "I Want to Ship" - Deppon Collect on Delivery - Send Goods - Check Express. After clicking "I Want to Ship," the platform page is similar to other shipping platforms, where you fill in the sender's address, recipient's address, select the item type, and item weight. The platform can then estimate the price.

Unlike placing orders directly with courier companies, the mini-program allows users to select their own courier. Currently, the platform integrates with six courier companies: Deppon, SF Express, JD, YTO, STO, and J&T Express, with varying prices. Taking the example of sending packages from Guangdong to Jiangsu, SF Express is the most expensive at 14.04 yuan after discount, followed by JD and Deppon at 10-12 yuan, YTO at 6.5 yuan. However, only Deppon, SF Express, and JD offer insurance services, while the other companies do not provide this service.

Compared to individual courier applets of different express companies, the carrier network's sending applet currently stands out with its one-click intelligent AI price comparison feature. It automatically selects the cheapest courier service for logistics, making price details clear at a glance. For instance, the JD Express applet only allows for standard sending, while options like sending heavy goods, perishable items, graduation packages, Dada local deliveries, and bulk sending are available.

When journalists choose the same sender and recipient addresses, the direct order price on the JD Express mini-program is 15 yuan, a few dollars more than the 12 yuan on the carrier network shipping mini-program. Overall, the carrier network's JD Express is at a 75% discount. Some consumers believe that without promotional activities, it's hard to attract individual users when directly ordering from the courier company. Currently, the carrier network is collaborating with Debang, SF Express, JD Express, YTO Express, STO Express, and J&T Express, offering discounts of about 30-70%. The carrier network also holds an advantage!
