Common aluminum strip alloys include 1050, 1060, 1070, 1100, 3003, 3004, 5005, 5052, 8011, etc. Common conditions are O-state and H-state, with O indicating soft and H indicating hard. A number can follow O and H to denote the softness or hardening level, as well as the annealing degree.

Applications of Aluminum Strip
Aluminum strips have a wide range of applications, including: aluminum-plastic composite pipes, cables, optical fibers, transformers, heaters, louver transformer aluminum strips (transformer foil), hollow aluminum strips for high-frequency welding, aluminum strips for finned radiators, aluminum strips for cable use, stamping aluminum strips, and aluminum edging strips, etc.
Processing Technology for Aluminum Strip
Aluminum strips are deep-processed products formed by cutting aluminum coils. They are an important raw material in the industrial sector.
Based on the different alloy elements in the aluminum strip, both aluminum strips and aluminum plates are also divided into eight major series. However, the commonly used series at present are 1000, 3000, 5000, and 8000 series.
Based on the annealing status of the aluminum strip, it can be categorized into fully soft (o-state), semi-hard (H24), and fully hard (h18). Currently, the most commonly used should be the fully soft series, as the O-state is easier to stretch and bend.
The primary processing equipment for aluminum strips is the slitting unit, which can be cut to the required length and width. Of course, the slitting equipment is versatile and can also process copper coils, with the finished product being called copper strips.
Internationally, there is no longer a sole reliance on copper strips for electronic product raw materials. As aluminum has a conductivity only slightly lower than copper, the substitution of aluminum strips for copper strips is becoming a popular trend globally.
