Waterproof and airtight doors are primarily used as a preventive measure against waterlogging in underground mines. For mines with complex hydrogeological conditions or a risk of sudden water inrush, waterproof doors must be installed at both ends of the underground ore handling area during the mining process. As an important piece of equipment underground, waterproof doors are required to be sturdy and reliable, with good sealing performance and easy operation. To accommodate high water pressure requirements, the door structure tends to be lightweight. Low-pressure waterproof doors typically feature flat or arched structures, while medium to high-pressure waterproof doors generally use thin-shell structures.
