TPV plastic raw materials, also known as Thermoplastic Vulcanizate (TPV), or polyolefin alloy thermoplastic elastomers, abbreviated as TPV. Thermoplastic Vulcanizate is commonly referred to as Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) in Chinese. However, this name can be confused with other types of thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), as TPEs are often also called thermoplastic rubber, especially styrenic elastomers. In China, "TPR" seems to have become its proprietary name. Additionally, to reduce costs or enhance certain properties, some inorganic fillers are often added.
