Basic Components
The basic components of extruded glass fiber reinforced plastic profiles are resins and glass fibers (including fabrics, felts, etc.). They are reinforced with fibers (including glass fibers, carbon fibers, other metal and non-metallic fibers) and bonded with resins, primarily epoxy resins, polyester resins, and phenolic resins. Complemented by auxiliary materials (mainly including release agents, hardeners, catalysts, mold sealants, UV stabilizers, mold cleaning water, and jacketing), they are composite materials. They possess a range of characteristics including high heat resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength, low density, low moisture absorption, low elongation, and good insulation properties.
Widely applied
Widely used in fields such as chemical corrosion prevention, wastewater treatment, electrical insulation, mining, transportation, and electronic communication.
