Basic Components
The basic components of extruded glass fiber reinforced plastic profiles are resins and glass fibers (including fabrics, felts, etc.). It is reinforced with fibers (including glass fibers, carbon fibers, other metal and non-metallic fibers) and bonded primarily with resins, such as epoxy resins, polyester resins, and phenolic resins. It is compounded with other auxiliary materials (main additives: release agents, hardeners, catalysts, sealants, UV stabilizers, mold cleaning water, protective coatings, etc.). It boasts a series of characteristics including high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength, low density, low moisture absorption, low elongation, and good insulation properties.
Widely Applied
Widely used in fields such as chemical corrosion prevention, wastewater treatment, electrical insulation, mining, transportation, and electronic communication.
