A tall-neck flange is a flange with a higher neck height.
Long-neck flange: The higher neck height enhances the rigidity and load-bearing capacity of the flange. Compared to welding flanges, it requires more welding work and higher consumable rod usage, and is not resistant to high temperature and high pressure, as well as repeated bending and temperature fluctuations. However, it is more convenient for on-site installation, allows for skipping the process of seam knocking, and is well-received.
Production Process: Full forging, forging press manufacturing, etc.
Processing Methods: High-precision CNC turning, precision turning on conventional lathes, TIG welding, etc.
Application Scope: Boilers and Pressure Vessels, Petroleum, Chemical Industry, Shipbuilding, Metallurgy, Machinery, Food Industry, etc.
