Basic Technical Architecture
Apart from the infrastructure and operating system levels, from a software perspective, the system hierarchy includes three levels:
Data Layer: Provides persistent storage for data, typically a database or file system.
Service Layer: Encapsulates business service functions, providing service interfaces for applications or other services to reduce code redundancy in the application layer. The service layer accesses the database through the data access layer to perform data read and write operations.
Application Layer: The functional realization of specific business applications, usually including web applications or non-web applications.
