Hopper bins are generally used for auxiliary shaft hoisting in mines, transporting personnel, ore, equipment, and materials. For medium and small-scale mines, hopper bins can also serve as the main shaft hoisting equipment, used for coal lifting. The hopper bin is one of the key equipment in mine hoisting.
Cage classification (Coal mine cages and metallurgical cages)
(1) The cage can be categorized into single-rope and multi-rope types based on the number of hoisting wires. Single-rope cages are generally used for mines with depths not exceeding 400 meters, while multi-rope cages are typically used for mines deeper than 350 meters.
(2) Tubs can be categorized into single-layer, double-layer, and multi-layer types based on the number of layers.
(3) The cages are categorized into two types according to the guide way design of the shell: rope-way cages and rigid-way cages. The rigid-way cages further divide into rail-way cages and composite steel-way cages.
