Seamless square tubes are long steel sections with a hollow cross-section and no seams around the perimeter. They are formed by extruding seamless tubes through molds on all four sides. These tubes have a hollow cross-section and are extensively used as pipeline for fluid conveyance. Mainly applied in liquid transportation, hydraulic supports, mechanical structures, medium and low pressure, high-pressure boiler tubes, heat exchangers, gas, oil and other industries. They are stronger than welded tubes and do not crack.
Welded square tubes are hollow square cross-section steel tubes, also known as hollow cold-formed steel. They are formed by cold bending hot-rolled or cold-rolled strip steel or coil into square sections, and then welded into the desired shape and size through high-frequency welding. In addition to the increased wall thickness, the corner dimensions and edge straightness of seamless square tubes reach or exceed the level of resistance-welded cold-formed square tubes. The size of the R-angle is generally 2 to 3 times the wall thickness. We can also produce R-angle square tubes in sizes as required by the customer.
