Application Method:
1. The boards must be tightly packed together, with no gaps between the carved panels. For the painted surface walls, use the dot and frame method to affix polystyrene boards, ensuring the bonding area is no less than 40%.
2. No adhesive should be applied at the seams. After applying the adhesive to the polystyrene board, quickly adhere the board to the wall, and clean any excess adhesive promptly after each piece is applied.
If gaps are formed due to irregular polyfoam surfaces or uneven cuts, and the gap width exceeds 2mm, insert polyfoam strips and sand them flat. The difference in seam height should not exceed 1.5mm; otherwise, use mortar or specialized sanding equipment to level it.
4. After the adhesive is applied to the surface of the polystyrene board, if it is exposed to the air for too long, a thin crust may form on the adhesive surface, affecting its bonding strength. Then, use a level ruler to flatten it to ensure evenness and secure adhesion.
