Application Method:
1. The boards must be tightly packed, with no gaps between carved panels. For walls coated with paint, polyfoam boards are adhered using the dot and frame method, ensuring the bonding area is no less than 40%.
2. No adhesive should be applied at the seams. After applying adhesive to the polystyrene board, quickly affix the board to the wall. Clean any excess adhesive promptly after each piece is applied.
3. If gaps are formed due to uneven polystyrene board surfaces or crooked cuts, and the gap width exceeds 2mm, insert polystyrene strips and sand them flat. The height difference between joints should not exceed 1.5mm; otherwise, use mortar or a specialized sanding tool to level the surface.
4. After the adhesive is applied to the surface of the polystyrene board, if it is exposed to the air for too long, a thin crust may form on the adhesive surface, affecting its bonding strength. Use a level ruler to flatten the adhesive to ensure evenness and secure adhesion.
