DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed through improvements and optimizations to our existing mature products. The excellent protective rating meets various design requirements: explosion-proof, overall switching, and overall regulating types.
The DZW series products are used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, throttle valves, diaphragm valves, their derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air gates, etc. They can accurately respond to control commands and are an essential driving device for achieving remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for Valves of General Type) and is explosion-proof, conforming to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting torque, during travel, it is mandatory to check if the potentiometer on the position indicator has been disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect it) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Start from a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) The above adjustments are made under conditions of no load and no medium pressure. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the individual gear set of the counter.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver until the cam engages the spring plate, following the arrow direction, until the microswitch action is achieved. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" travel is complete.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few turns and then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear and travel.
