I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators are a new generation of products that our company has developed and improved upon our existing mature products, optimizing protection performance and key components. They feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable, reliable performance. The good protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall on/off, and overall regulating types.
The DZW series products are used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, their derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. They can accurately respond to control commands, making them an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of the explosion-proof type complies with GB3836.1-2000 (General Requirements for Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Gas Atmospheres), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque while traveling. Ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switching direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure or temperature, pay attention to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, you should appropriately increase the torque value to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Remove the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and turn it 90°, thereby disconnecting the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the initial "OFF" travel has been properly adjusted.

Now, turn it on electrically for a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again according to the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Once the stroke mechanism is engaged with the driving gear, the open direction stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
