I. Overview
The DZW series electric actuators are a new generation of products that our company has developed and refined based on our mature products, optimizing protection performance and key components. They are completely self-developed, featuring compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. With a good protection rating, they can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall switch, and overall regulating types.
The DZW series is designed for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air doors, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, making it an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel, and ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switch direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the plunger in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the individual gear of the counter.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver until the cam engages the spring plate, following the arrow direction, until the microswitch action is achieved. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "Off" travel is complete.

At this point, turn a few circles using the electric mechanism, then shut it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Directional Adjustment: After adjusting in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the directional stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the valve opening is controlled around 90%.

Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear ratio and stroke.
