The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products, which have been improved and refined in structure based on our company's mature products. The DZW series is designed for controlling the opening and closing of valves. It is suitable for gate valves, stop valves, throttle valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately operate according to control instructions, making it an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for General Valves). The explosion-proof type performance complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, stopping when the micro-switch action is achieved. This indicates the initial adjustment of the "OFF" travel is complete.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Opening Direction: After the closing direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled at about 90%.
