I. Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed through improvements and optimizations on our mature products. They feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. With a high protection grade, they can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-position switch, and all-position regulating.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. It is suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivatives can be applied to ball valves, butterfly valves, and wind gates, etc. It can accurately operate according to control instructions, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, and during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be tightly closed. If it cannot be tightly closed, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly closed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Remove the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thus disengaging the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning it in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the initial "OFF" travel has been properly adjusted.

At this point, you can turn the electric switch a few times, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the closure direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated several times. Generally, the valve opening is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable opening degree indicator adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the torque and travel.
