I. Overview
DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's improved and refined version of the existing mature products, with optimized protection performance and key components, and are a completely independently developed new generation product featuring compact structure, small size, aesthetic appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, full-on/full-off, and full-range regulating.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air doors, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves). The explosion-proof model's performance complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: Explosion-proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque during travel; ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load and no medium pressure. When there is pressure and temperature, pay attention to whether it can be tightly closed. If it cannot be tightly closed, increase the torque value appropriately, aiming for tight closure and ease of opening.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the travel control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the pin in the travel control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thus separating the driving small gear from the counting unit's gear assembly.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the initial "Off" travel has been properly adjusted.
(4)
At this point, you can turn the switch a few times electrically, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the closed direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the valve opening is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
